During the last 25 meters of the lap, participants enter a ‘walking only’ zone at the approach to the golf putting area. The walking phase will help to lower the heart rate and provide for a smooth transition to the putting stage. Running in the walking zone, will result in a disqualification.
-
Each participant will collect 3 golf balls and will then walk to an available putting unit.
-
Only one putt is allowed per ball. Driving is not allowed. One point is awarded for each ball driven into the target. After putting, the participant must lay the putter down gently, walk to the start of the running lane and resume their run or walk.
-
All putting stops as soon as the horn sounds, however a ball already in motion may score.
-
All are required to practice good sportsmanship, including no littering.
